Alisal-Pajaro Valley football

Friday's game
Alisal (5-4) vs. Pajaro Valley (1-7) at Watsonville High, 7:30 p.m.
 The Trojans are one win away from clinching just the programs fifth postseason appearance in the schools 52 year existence.
 Alisal has gone 5-1 since an 0-3 start, winning its last four games to move into second in the Pacific Division. It is 4-0 lifetime against Pajaro Valley.
 During its four-game winning streak, Alisal has knocked off two teams that are a combined 11-4 this season.
Quarterback Andrew Marquez has put up an MVP type season for the Trojans, having accounted for 19 touchdowns this fall.
 The Grizzlies have won just three league games since the Pacific Division was formed six years ago. All three have come at Watsonville High.
With this being their final regular season game, the Trojans will have a lot of time to gear up for the postseason with a win, as they would not play again until Nov. 17.

I do believe PV has also beaten NMC while in this league.

Whoops, my mistake. Thought it said against WHS, not at WHS. PV did beat NMC at NMC in 2007 I believe.
