Trinity at Pinewood >> Wyatt Hankard has tossed five touchdown passes in the last two games for Trinity. Pinewood gave up 69 points in a loss last week.
Stevenson at King City >> Clay Barbree rushed for 112 yards last week and also had 154 receiving yards and two touchdowns for King City. Stevenson's defense shutout Oakland.
North County at Watsonville >> The Wildcatz only loss this year is to a team outside the CCS. The Condors have just one touchdown in their three losses.
Alisal at Gilroy >> The Trojans last two games have come down to the final seconds. Gilroy has outscored opponents 55-8 in the third quarter in jumping out to a 4-0 start.
Alvarez at San Benito >> Both teams are coming off losses by a combined score of 84-0. The Balers have not allowed a point in the first quarter this year.
Aptos vs. Palma at Rabobank >> The Mariners are 7-3 over the last six years against teams in the Gabilan Division, with all three losses coming from Palma.
Carmel at Soledad >> Both teams are coming off shutouts. Emmanuel Ortega has rushed for over 100 yards in 10 straight games for Soledad. Three individuals have rushed for over 100 yards against Carmel this year.
Salinas at Seaside >> The second quarter has been big for Seaside, outscoring opponents 43-0. The Cowboys have not scored a point in the first half in their last two games.
Saturday's games
Marina at St. Francis, Watsonville >> The Sharks have outscored three California teams 132-7. Their one loss came in Oregon. Marina has led in every game at some point this season.
Greenfield at Harbor >> Bailey Schantz has over 1,000 yards in rushing and passing offense for Harbor. The Bruins have been outscored 76-14 at home, but are undefeated on the road.
Monte Vista vs. North Salinas at Rabobank >> All of Anthony Aguilar 's touchdown passes for North Salinas have gone to Ritchie Reyes. Monte Vista quarterback Sean White has thrown eight touchdown passes.
MPC at Gavilan >> Hunter Nye is coming off a 149 yard rushing effort for MPC. Gavilan has lost three games by a total of 16 points. MPC has not registered a sack this year.
Hartnell at Reedley >> Quarterback Randall Johnson has accounted for all eight touchdowns for Reedley. Devon Daich threw for 338 yards and three touchdowns in the Panthers last win.
