The former Greenfield High and Hartnell College standout is on pace to produce career high’s in catches and receptions for the Iowa Wesleyan football team.
Amezcua has 17 catches for 268 yards in two games for the Tigers. Last season the senior caught 34 passes for 362 yards and two touchdowns.
Greenfield’s all-time scoring leader in basketball, Amezcua was the Bruins quarterback before moving to the receiver position at Hartnell.
