Ronnie and Michael Turner will both be in uniform this fall for the University of Alabama- Birmingham football team

The program, which was brought back this fall after a years absence, will play in the West Division of Conference USA. Its schedule will include Florida and Rice.
Both Turner’s sat out last year without using a redshirt year because the Alabama-Birmingham program did not exist.
Ronnie Turner earned a scholarship after a record breaking two year career at Hartnell College while Michael was a walk-on recruit as a quarterback.
A 6-foot-4 lanky receiver with deceptive speed, Ronnie Turner is battling for a starting job on the outside while Michael Turner -- who hasn’t played in two years -- is currently listed as a third string quarterback. Both are Seaside High graduates.
