Michael Carrizosa will enter his senior season as the San Jose State career leader in punting average at 43.3 yards a punt.
A former walk-on from Palma, Carrizosa is the first San Jose State punter to be ranked in the top 20 in Division I twice, averaging a school record 47.5 yards a punt in 2015.A finalist for the Ray Guy award as a sophomore in 2015 and a second team All-American, Carrizosa finished 14th in the nation in punting last fall.
He will also kick off this fall for the San Jose State.
