Lizzy Tardieu

Appearing in a career high 96 sets last fall, defensive specialist Lizzy Tardieu will begin her senior season for the University of San Diego volleyball team.
Last year Tardieu set a collegiate career high in digs for the Toreros with 167, finishing fourth on the team. The 5-foot-4 standout needs 178 digs to reach 500 for her career.
A recruited walk on from Santa Catalina, Tardieu has set season bests in each of her first three years in digs at San Diego, compiling a career best 15 digs in a match last year. She also has 23 service aces and 60 assists.
Tardieu was a four-year standout in volleyball, track and cross country at Santa Catalina, earning The Herald’s Volleyball Player of the Year and Female Athlete of the Year in 2014.
