Seaside's Finest is sending four age group basketball teams to the NCAA certified Las Vegas Classic this weekend
Coming off an Elite 8 finish at the Summer Kick Off Classic in Anaheim, the 17-under team will be showcasing its talents in front of college coaches against teams from Illinois, Colorado and Arizona in the platinum division.
Playing this weekend include Peyton Seeyle, Matthew Briscoe, Evans Charles, Garrett Maker, Ian Sinclair-Fox, Marc Flores, Jordan Banon and Sammy Hawkins.
The 14-under team already has a tournament title under its belt in Los Angeles this summer. Seaside's Finest will be the only county team competing in the tournament.
Eight players in the last two years that have played for Seaside's Finest are now playing college basketball, including Jamaree Bouyea, who has a scholarship to the University of San Francisco.
Others players at four year schools include Wyatt Maker (CSU-East Bay), Chris Evans (Pacific University in Oregon) and Jacob Franks (Puget Sound, Washington).
