Brittany File

Coming off an All-American season in the circle for Emory University in Atlanta, Brittany File is 13-4 this spring with a 1.81 earned run average.

The senior hurler, who holds the school’s all-time record for strikeouts (827), has recorded 157 in 116 1/3 innings this year. In four years, she has compiled 76 wins for the Eagles.
Last year File set a single season school record with 36 wins and 343 strikeouts for Emory, earning the conference’s Player of the Year award, and earning Division III All-American status.
File was a four-year starter at Carmel High, earning a spot on The Herald’s All-County Softball team three times.
