The former Santa Catalina sniper became just the eighth female in NCAA water polo history to win the prestigious Elite 90 award, presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade point average participating in an NCAA finals event.
A junior attacker on the UC-Irvine water polo team, Loomis has a 9.918 grade point average in the Paul Merage School of Business School at UC Irvine.UC Irvine fell in the NCAA Final 8 to Cal 10-7. Loomis finished the season with 10 goals for the Anteaters.
