The former Stevenson four-sport standout tossed her first collegiate shutout for the University of New Mexico softball team.

The freshman hurler is evolving into the ace of New Mexico’s staff, leading the team with four wins, while lowering her earned run average to 2.19.
 Main has two complete games and 11 strikeouts in 38 innings of work. She also got her first college hits against UTEP.
A standout in softball, soccer, water polo and swimming at Stevenson, Main earned a spot on The Herald’s All-County softball team three times while receiving The Herald’s Female Athlete of the Year award last season.
