College volleyball tournament in Monterey

The second annual Monterey College Invitational beach volleyball tournament will be held Friday and Saturday at Windows By the Bay Beach Courts, across the street from Lake El Estero Park in Monterey.

Among the teams slated to compete in the two-day tournament is UCLA, who is ranked No. 3 in the nation in women’s beach volleyball.
Also taking part in the event will be San Jose State, Portland State, the University of San Francisco, Grand Canyon College in Arizona and St. Mary’s College.
