Two weeks after some of the top college beach volleyball teams in the nation took part in the Monterey Invite, the nations No. 1 ranked team will be on the peninsula in USC.
The Trojans are among four college programs that will take part in the IMUA Volleyball Club Monterey Invitational II, set for Sunday on the beach across from Lake El Estero.
USC features the nations top ranked beach doubles volleyball team in Sara Hughes and Kelly Klaes, the early favorites to represent the USA in the 2020 Summer Olympics.
The event will begin at 9:30 a.m., with matches running throughout the day.
