Seaside-Watsonville girls hoops

The hope was this game would have title implications.
 Didn't happen.
Yet, while the Spartans have locked up the Pacific Division title -- and a likely ticket to the Gabilan Division next year -- there is still some unfinished business.
Seaside will go into its season finale riding a 10-game winning streak, which included a 46-43 win over Watsonville back on Jan. 24.
The Wildcatz, who were knocked out of title consideration on Tuesday in a one-point loss to North County, have lost all three Pacific Division games by a total of five points.
Riding into the postseason with momentum doesn't occur with a loss. Which is why this battle will still have a playoff type feel.
Jordan Olivares and Alonis Ingram have carried the offensive burden during the Spartans rise to their first league title in six years. Watsonville is 9-2 at home this season.
