Saturday morning thoughts

Dramatics: Stevenson needed every bit of Ambreece Gaskins' 30 points in a 64-62 win over King City in girls hoops
Statement: Building a 30-point lead in the fourth quarter, Palma coasted past Monterey for its 40th straight league win.
Impression: Salinas is peaking for the postseason, closing the season by winning five of its last six games, including a 52-48 win over MVC in boys hoops.
Player to watch: In five games since returning from an elbow injury, Parker Olin is averaging over 24 points a game for Stevenson.
Big nights: Madison Owens has 23 points and 20 rebounds in King City's loss to Stevenson. Nikhil Manimaran and Jamaree Bouyea lites up Monterey, combining for 50 points for Palma.
