What we told you two weeks ago is finally official.
The Mission Trail Athletic League has accepted five members from the Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League for football for the 2017 season.
The first tier will feature defending MTAL champion Carmel, CCS DIV champion Soledad, Pacific Grove, King City, Stevenson, Scotts Valley and San Lorenzo Valley.
The second tier will include Gonzales, Greenfield, Marina, Harbor, Santa Cruz and Soquel. In addition, St. Francis Catholic will also become a member of the MTAL for football.
