Lizzy Tardieu


Libero Lizzy Tardieu established a college career high for digs for the nationally ranked University of San Diego volleyball team, compiling 166 in 29 matches.
One of four players to have played in every match this year for the 14th ranked Toreros, who are competing in the NCAA tournament, her previous high was 144 digs.
The 5-foot-4 Tardieu is averaging nearly two digs a set. She also has 23 assists and eight service aces for San Diego, who went into the NCAA tournament 24-5.
The Herald’s Female Athlete of the Year in 2014, Tardieu was a four-time member of The Herald’s All-County volleyball team.
