Former Soledad High and Monterey Peninsula College sharpshooter Felicia Villarruel is fourth on the San Francisco State women’s basketball team in 3-point goals this winter with seven.
The 5-foot-6 senior guard has appeared in all 10 games for San Francisco State, averaging eight minutes a game. Seven of her eight baskets have been from beyond the 3-point arc this year. She also has five steals on the young season.
Villarruel averaged 22.1 points a game as a senior at Soledad, setting a school record for 3-point goals with 68. During her two seasons at MPC, she lead the team in points and 3-point goals.
