As part of their California tour, Berwick Secondary College of Australia will make a stop in Salinas tonight to face Alvarez's boys and girls basketball teams.
Both programs spent Sunday in Moraga as St. Mary's College is reportedly interested in one of the players on the Berwick boys teams.
There are currently seven players from Australia on St. Mary's men's basketball team, although none from Berwick
Alvarez is off to a 4-1 start this season behind Marc Flores and Blake Kunkel, with its only setback coming from Tokay of Lodi.
While teams from Australia and New Zealand have come out and played teams in Monterey County in the past, this will be the first foreign high school team to come to Alvarez.
Berwick is currently on summer break as it is summer in Australia.
