Former Herald Athlete of the Year and Pacific Grove record setting quarterback Luke Lowell has made the transition from quarterback to wide receiver at Pomona-Pitzer College.
Lowell, who started two games at quarterback last year for Pomona-Pitzer before breaking his collarbone, has played in five games as a receiver, catching six passes for 106 yards.
The junior has been on the receiving end of two touchdowns, averaging 21.2 yards a catch this fall.
While Lowell shattered single-season school records at Pacific Grove for touchdown passes and passing yards, he was a three-sport standout, excelling basketball and baseball.
