Senior defensive lineman Jonathan Tuiolosega has played in all eight games this fall for the University of Texas-San Antonio football team, registering 16 tackles, two for losses.
Tuiolosega has found himself lined up against Arizona State, Colorado State and Rice this year, with a meeting with Texas A&M slated in two weeks.
The 6-foot-2, 275-pound Tuiolosega was a two-sport standout at Seaside High, reaching the state meet in wrestling as a sophomore. He earned all-conference honors while attending Monterey Peninsula College.
