Saturday morning thoughts

Dramatics: William Enriquez intercepts a pass in the final minute of Greenfield's 34-31 win over Gonzales.
Most impressive: Carmel ties the school record for points in a game with 78 - with a running clock in the fourth quarter.
On the mend: That 0-3 start is in the rear view mirror after Monterey's 39-13 win over Pajaro.
Disappointment:  Failing to hold a lead for the fourth time in six games, Alisal is still looking for that first win.
Statement: Erasing a 14-point deficit, Stevenson runs off 28 unanswered points in a win over Pacific Grove.
Bag of tricks: Soledad uses a gadget play for the first time, producing a game-winning touchdown against King City.
Individuals: Emilio Martinez rushes for four touchdowns for Palma, Stevenson's Casey Mornhinweg tosses four touchdown passes, and Seaside's Daniel Sayre returns his fourth interception for a pick six.
