North County-Pajaro Valley football

Friday's game
North County (0-6) vs. Pajaro Valley (2-4) at Cabrillo College, 7 p.m.
The Condors have found themselves playing from behind all season, having been outscored 52-0 in the first quarter this fall.
Two of North County's setbacks have been by six points or less, while it actually lead in last week's loss to Seaside at halftime.
After back-to-back three-point wins, Pajaro Valley has dropped its last two, having been outscored 80-26. Ironically, in three of its four losses, it has scored 13 points.
Omar Murillo continues to inch closer to 1,000 rushing yards with over 800 on the season, with eight of the teams 11 touchdowns.
Joseph Barrios has been a bright spot for the Condors, both as a running back and receiver, and leads the team in interceptions on defense.
Three of quarterback Steven Flores' touchdown passes for North County have gone to Jose Esparza, with Barrios having the other.
The Grizzlies are looking to snap a 14-game Pacific Division losing streak while North County has dropped eight straight overall games dating back to last year.
