The former Carmel High four-year middle blocker is second on the San Diego State volleyball team in blocks this fall with 58.
The senior, who transferred to San Diego State two years ago after playing her first two collegiate seasons at Pepperdine, has recorded 108 kills in 18 matches this season, and has 10 service aces.
Fuzie was a two-time member of the Herald’s All-County volleyball team and a two-time Mission Trail Athletic League Player of the Year.
