Most impressive: Held scoreless last week, King City erupts for 42 points in a 35-point win over Monterey.
Stunned: A touchdown in the final two minutes leaves Palma winless after an 8-7 loss to St. Francis.
Disappointment: Gonzales falls to 0-2 after a 47-23 loss to Coalinga.
Statement: Alvarez uses three touchdowns from Matt Martinez and four sacks from Alan Llamas in a 28-14 win over Alisal.
On the rise: A turnover free game propels Salinas to a 28-9 win over Pioneer.
Individual: Tristian Beza rushes for two touchdowns and returns a fumble for a score in Seaside's 41-0 win over Marina.
