Pajaro Valley-Greenfield football

Friday's game
Pajaro Valley (1-2) at Greenfield (1-1), 7:30 p.m.
Whatever Bruins head coach Ryan Bravo said to his quarterback, bottle it.
At one point last week, Rodrigo Frias completed 12 straight passes -- seven days after he misfired on seven consecutive attempts in the teams season opener.
Frias threw for three touchdowns and accounted for four, including a 94 yard touchdown run in the final two minutes of Greenfield's 28-25 win over Alisal.
Outscored 75-20 in their first two games, the Grizzlies looked like another team last week in 31-28  win over Soquel.
While Frias accounted for over 300 yards in offense last week, Pajaro tailback Omar Murillo has 435 yards and five of the teams six offensive touchdowns in the first three games.
The Grizzlies have not beat themselves ,with just one turnover this year. In fact, they are plus four in turnover ratio, which includes a Diego Navarro interception for a pick six.
While the Bruins have put an emphasis on throwing the ball this fall, it's still in their DNA to grind the ball on the ground, as Frias and Hector Ramirez have both rushed for over 100 yards.
