Freshman Jennifer Lane has made an immediate impact for the Willamette volleyball team, leading them in service aces with 11 in the first nine matches.
Lane, who helped Notre Dame High to a Central Coast Section Division V title last year, is coming off a collegiate career high 15-kill effort for the Bearcats.
The 5-foot-11 outside/middle hitter is second on the team with 63 kills, 71 digs and 17 blocks. Lane was a three year starting middle blocker for Notre Dame.
