Carmel-Christopher football

Friday's game
Carmel (2-0) at Christopher (1-1), 7:30 p.m.
The Cougars aren't shy about their desire to put the ball in the air as quarterback Ryan Adamkiewicz has thrown for nearly 500 yards and five touchdowns in two games.
A backup to his brother last year, Adamkewicz has yet to throw a pick in 57 attempts. Five of the teams six touchdowns this year have come through the air.
We know Carmel isn't bashful about airing it out, Yet, it's pounding teams this year with tailback Covossay Windham, who has gone over 100 yards rushing in both games.
What we learned about the Padres last week is their two-minute drill isn't bad, going on a 99-yard drive in the final three minutes, producing 15 points in 42 seconds.
Hayden Stachelek's run after the catch for a 24-yard touchdown is the early play of the year after the Carmel receiver broke four tackles and carried another defender into the end zone.
Head coach Golden Anderson has talked about the importance of special teams all year. Recovering an onside kick enabled them to force overtime in a 22-21 win over Scotts Valley.
Dating back to last year, quarterback Daniel Higman has not thrown an interception in his last 80 attempts for the Padres.
Zach Rossi and Shokh Inagambaev are anchoring a defense that has not allowed a point in the third quarter this year.
