Gonzales moves season opener

 Gonzales will be on the road instead of hosting Kings Academy in its season opener this Friday.
 The reason?
 Kings Academy, who fell to Carmel in the CCS playoffs last year, asked if it could switch the game because its new synthetic field is complete.
 To coax the Spartans into switching sites, Kings Academy offered to give Gonzales the entire gate and a chartered bus to Sunnyvale.
 The change does mean Gonzales will only host three games this year. But the anticipated revenue for the change in venues could be a big boast to the schools sports budget.
