The former King City High and Monterey Peninsula College three-sport standout has landed a track and field scholarship to Lewis-Clark State College in Idaho.
Valladarez, the Female Athlete of the Year this past season at MPC, reached the Northern California finals last spring in the javelin.
She also had significant roles this past season for the Lobos volleyball and basketball teams.
As a senior in 2014 at King City, Valladarez was an honorable mention selection for The Herald's Female Athlete of the Year, winning the Mission Trail Athletic League shot put title.
