On a team full of youth and field hockey inexperience last fall, Axton put on the Michelin man gear in goal and compiled over 100 saves for Monterey.
Axton also recorded two shutouts in goal for the Toreadores -- the teams only two wins. She logged over 600 minutes, gaining valuable experience coming into this year.
