Minor league all-star Marc Flores has continued his torrid hitting in the second half of the season for the Jolliet Slammers of the Frontier League, leading the team in home runs (11) and runs batted in (48).
The 6-foot-5, left-handed hitting King City High graduate is second on the team in hits (69) and third in runs scored (42) and sacrifice flies (7). Flores is also hitting .288.
Originally drafted by the Chicago White Sox in 2014, the first baseman started for two years at the University of Hawaii and was an All-American at Hartnell College.
