A two time all-league safety for Carmel, Higman showed off his talents offensively behind center last year, rushing for over 600 yards in four starts at quarterback.
Inserted into the lineup in Week 9 at quarterback, Higman rushed for 271 yards in his first start. He threw for nearly 400 yards on just 35 completions, rushing or throwing for eight touchdowns.
