The incoming senior was a fierce pass rusher coming off the edge for MTAL tri-champion Soledad last year, compiling 12 sacks.
Hernandez also had 100 tackles last fall for Soledad, forced five fumbles and returned a fumble 82 yards for a touchdown. He will also see time on the offensive line this season.
