The former Pacific Grove High baseball standout is an assistant coach at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, which just won the NCAA Division III College World Series.
Clements, who also played at Trinity, served as a hitting coach for the program, which produced 45 runs, averaging 12 hits a game in five world series games.
Clements earned all-league honors at Pacific Grove in 2009, leading the team in homers (5) and runs batted in (26), while earning five saves on the mound.
