Josh Pompan

York graduate Josh Pompan put together a solid sophomore season for the University of Pennsylvania tennis team, capturing 22 matches.

Playing No. 3 singles for Pennsylvania - a member of the Ivy League - Pompan’s career moment came while he was battling a flu, rallying from a 5-1 deficit in the third set to win the match, giving the team a 4-3 win over Brown.
Pompan, who won a Central Coast Section singles title at York in 2013, will be the team captain for the 2017 spring season at Penn.
