A three-sport standout at Pacific Grove, football might be Smith's best sport as he lead the defending Mission Trail Athletic League champions defense last season.
The 6-foot-5 defensive end recorded a team high nine sacks for the Breakers, compiling 50 tackles. Smith was also an all-league offensive lineman, creating holes for a dynamic ground game.
