Emerging last season as the ace of the Hartnell cross country team, Bonilla is the defending Coast Conference champion, finishing sixth in Northern California.
A former King City High state qualifier in cross country and track, Bonilla was the only runner at last year's conference finals to dip under 22 minutes over the 4.195 mile course.
