The Santa Catalina graduate closed her first softball season at Cal, leading the team in home runs with seven.
Aldrete, who spent her first two collegiate seasons at nationally ranked Tennessee before transferring, was second on the team in runs batted (31) and walks (28). The junior catcher hit .265 while scoring 16 runs and compiled a .372 on base percentage. Behind the dish, Aldrete handled 309-of-311 chances for a .994 fielding percentage.
Aldrete was a four-year starter at Santa Catalina and is still the all-time leader in the county in home runs.
