Sarah Muzik

The former Notre Dame softball standout was named to the Big West Conference all-freshman team after finishing with a team high 50 hits for the University of Hawaii.

Muzik was one of three players to start all 54 games for the Warriors, leading the team in at bats, runs scored (29) and stolen bases (5).
She also walked 18 times this year, and hit .284. Muzik platooned between shortstop and center field in the second half of the season.
A two-time member of The Herald’s All-County softball team, Muzik was a four-year starter at Notre Dame, and earned team MVP honors in basketball.
