The former King City High and Hartnell College baseball standout finished his junior season at Salem West Virginia, hitting .295 in 47 starts.
Flores was the only player on the Salem West Virginia team to start all 47 games this season. He led the team in hits (44), doubles (14), runs batted in (21), runs scored (17), walks (23), on base percentage (.385) and slugging percentage (.416).Defensively, Flores compiled a .989 fielding percentage in the outfield, handling 88 of 89 chances. Flores was a three-sport standout at King City, and started at Hartnell for two seasons.
