Marisa Given

Limited duty has not kept the former Herald Athlete of the Year from making the most of her time on the field for the nationally ranked Oregon softball team.
Given has appeared in 13 games as a true freshman for the Pac 12 champions, often as a pinch runner or defensive replacement. She's hitting .250, having scored four runs.

A three-time member of The Herald’s All-County basketball team and two-time member of the softball team at Notre Dame, Given committed to Oregon as a sophomore in 2013.

Oregon, who is ranked No. 3 in the nation, has eight seniors on its roster.
