Brittany File

Not only has Brittany File put up Most Valuable Player numbers this spring, but she’s set new standards at Emory College in Atlanta, posting a 30-2 record with two saves and a 1.59 earned run average.
The junior hurlers numbers surpassed what File did in her first two years at Emory. File has compiled 273 strikeouts in 171 1/3 innings this spring. She came into the season ninth on the all-time strikeout list with 317 in her first two years.
The University Athletic Association Conference Player of the Year, File earned four Player of the Week honors in conference for Emory, who is ranked No. 9 in the nation in Division III. File was a two-time member of the Herald’s All-County softball team at Carmel.
