The former Notre Dame High point guard and two-time league Most Valuable Player is in her eighth season playing professional basketball in Europe.
The 5-foot-6 Beneavente leads the USC Heidelberg basketball team in assists this season at 2.2. She is also dropping in 10.4 points a game, pulling down 3.3 rebounds and averaging 1.9 steals.
The 31-year-old former St. Mary's standout helped lead Notre Dame to its first Central Coast Section divisional title in 25 years in 2003.
