Daniel Farfan

The former Soledad graduate was named the PacWest Co-Player of the Week for the Academy of Arts baseball team after his effort on the hill.

Farfan tossed a seven-inning, complete game shutout for his first collegiate win against Hawaii-Pacific.
 The freshman right-hander also allowed just five hits in throwing nine innings in a scheduled seven inning game against Concordia.
Farfan is 1-1 in nine appearances -- five starts -- this spring with 29 strikeouts in 41 innings, sporting a 3.67 earned run average. Opponents are hitting just .208 off him.
