CSUMB baseball

A vicious road trip that saw them play two teams eight hours a part in a span of 24 hours took its toll as the Otters have dropped four of their last five games.
Since being nationally ranked at 23-6 overall,  CSUMB is just 5-7 in its last 12 games.
With 10 games left in the conference season, the Otters need to rediscover the magic that propelled them to a record setting start on Saturday when they host UC San Diego.
CSUMB is just 2-4 at home since a 9-0 start.
Kevin Davidson continues to chase the triple crown for CSUMB, leading the team in home runs (8), and runs batted in (39), and is second in hitting at .325.
Teammate Hayden Duer shares the team lead in homers while Bryan Bostjancic leads the Otters in  hitting at .357.
Gabe Katich has won a team high five games and sports a 2.36 earned run average while closer Kyle Narahara has eight saves and a 2.56 ERA.
