CSUMB baseball

The schedule makers were not kind to the Otters for the stretch run.
Granted rain outs caused some of the problem.
Yet, the vans at CSUMB will be racking up some mileage as the Otters will travel from Los Angeles on Sunday to Sonoma State to play a Monday 11 a.m. doubleheader.
In addition, CSUMB's pitching staff will be tested as the team will play five games in three days, including two doubleheaders.
While the Otters have cooled a bit since opening the season with a school record nine wins, they are  still 23-9 overall -- 12-5 on the road.
CSUMB has ripped 30 homers this spring, just six off last year's single season school record. Seven  bombs have come off the bats of  Kevin Davidson and Hayden Duer.
Seven players are hitting over .300 for the Otters, including Bryan Bostjancic's team leading .379 average.
Kyle Narahara has been sensational as a closer with six saves and an earned run average of 1.98 while Gabe Katich is 5-2 with a 2.33 ERA as a starter.
