Former Monterey High and Monterey Peninsula College pitcher Clarisa Cortez sports a 2.36 earned run average in 14 appearances for the Mid America Nazarene softball team in Kansas.
The right-handed hurler, who won 20 games both as a Toradore and at MPC, is 5-4 with three saves this spring.
