The junior utility standout is hitting a career high .288 for the San Jose State softball team. In 16 starts, Watt has scored 16 runs, five off her collegiate career best.
Watt, who had a medical redshirt year last spring, has hit a career high two homers, having driven in 11 runs -- four RBI off her career best for the Spartans. She also sports a .971 fielding percentage.
Watt was a four-year starter at Salinas and a member of The Herald’s All-County softball team.
