Brittany File

Pitcher Brittany File is approaching single-season school records for the nationally ranked Emory College softball team, sporting a 24-2 record in the circle.

File has a 2.00 earned run average with a career high 208 strikeouts in 139 2/3 innings. The junior right-hander also has two saves and has twice been named the UAA Pitcher of the Week.
A former two-time member of The Herald’s All-County softball team while at Carmel, File has more wins and strikeouts this year than her previous two years combined at Emory, a Division III program in Atlanta.
