CCS basketball

It's insulting that the CCS would force Pacific Grove and Carmel to play a Division IV basketball  title game in Santa Cruz.
 Why?
There are sites in Monterey County just as suitable.
What's worse is you have got them slated for 8 p.m. on Saturday.
Having you taken a look at the forecast for Saturday night?
I get it. Basketball is indoors. But projected heavy rain and wind make driving a nightmare. Have you heard of power outages?
With four games slated for the same venue, it's virtually impossible that the final game tips off on time.
If this is about saving money, what about safety?

What safety issue? Teens driving to the game will be extra cautious on hwy one. Two lane highways very seldom have serious accidents.

why not have the game at CSUMB an accessible appropriate sized arena much closer to the teams respective homes the CCS bay area bias needs to be an issue to that teams south of Santa Cruz County fight back against

Often I agree with you but not this time. The Boys DIV quarterfinals and semifinals were played in Santa Cruz, so why not the finals? If CCS did consider safety it seems to me that it is smart to have the teams that have to come over 17 play earlier rather than being the 8:00 game. And besides, how often do weathermen get it right?
